NAMI Chicago's Executive Director, Alexa James, and other experts spoke on WTTW Chicago Tonight about mental health supports for officers of the Chicago Police Department.
In Alexa's words: "Some people experience asking for help to be a sign of weakness. It's obviously not a sign of weakness. It takes a tremendous amount of bravery to say, 'I'm feeling pretty crumby, I want to process this with somebody.'"
