NAMI Chicago support groups offer peer support for individuals living in recovery with a mental health condition as well as their family and friends. Unlike therapeutic groups, peer support groups are led by trained volunteers with lived experience with mental illness or a family member. All support groups are free, do not require insurance, and are held on a drop-in basis with no required length of participation.
The support groups hosted by us are offered both in English and in Spanish. NAMI Chicago groups are held at our office located at 1801 W Warner Ave Suite 202, Chicago, IL 60613.
