1 in 5 adults in the United States has a mental health condition. 5 in 5 of us have mental health.

In a year that’s been exceptionally difficult for so many people, studies have shown that the number of everyday people having mental health symptoms is on the rise. Depression rates more than tripled in the Spring of 2020, according to a national study.

NAMI wants to partner with your faith community to build up your skills and knowledge around ministering to people in your congregation who are dealing with stress, worry, grief and burnout. You’re already doing this work — breaking bread, feeding and clothing people, comforting those who grieve. NAMI can help you build on that and become a trusted resource you can call for support, long-term.

NAMI is offering:

  • A free education session, offered virtually, to bring new approaches, mental health tools and education to your faith leadership or whole congregation

  • Long-term partnership and resources you can rely on, as you work to help people in your congregation that are hurting in different ways

Submit a request below to get started. A NAMI staff person will reach out to you to follow up!
