NAMI Chicago refers community members to over 700 resources through our free Helpline, open seven days a week. Below are a handful of resources that we have found helpful to many. This is not an exhaustive list - call us at 833-626-4244 to talk through your needs.

Affinity Community Services is a Black-led, queer-led organization on Chicago’s Southside dedicated to social justice in Black LGBTQ+ communities. Check out their website for events.
AIDS Foundation of Chicago advocates for those living with HIV and AIDS, connects folks to healthcare and advocates for housing and employment opportunities.
Bisexual Queer Alliance Chicago

Chicago Coalition of Welcoming Churches
The Chicago Coalition of Welcoming Churches is a collaboration of more than 80 churches and other ministries in the Chicago metropolitan area which welcome and affirm people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
Chicago House has been supporting individuals and families impacted by HIV since 1985 with housing, health, and employment services. Chicago House has the TransLife Care program and connects folks to medical healthcare and PrEP.

CLASP is a Facebook group that supports LGBTQ immigrants.
