Lily Rocha (“Row-chah”) joined NAMI Chicago as Associate Vice President of Policy in January 2024. Lily is an experienced policy advocate and began her career as a congressional aide in Washington, D.C. Lily has also served as Chief of Staff for an Illinois State Representative and led multi-state campaigns at nonprofit policy advocacy organizations.

As a first-generation Mexican-American, she strives to center the voices of marginalized communities most impacted by systemic inequities in the policymaking process. Lily received her B.A. in Economics-Political Science from Columbia University in 2010. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, yoga, and reading fiction.
