Run with Team NAMI at the 2027 Chicago Marathon
Join NAMI Chicago and run the Bank of America Chicago Marathon in support of NAMI’s work to improve the lives of people affected by mental illness.
As a member of Team NAMI Chicago, you’ll receive:
A guaranteed charity entry to the Bank of America Chicago Marathon
NAMI merch bundle including NAMI laces

Applications for the 2027 Chicago Marathon Are Closed
Thank you for the incredible interest in joining Team NAMI Chicago! Due to the high volume of applications, both our initial application period and waitlist are now closed. Our team is reviewing applications, and all applicants will be notified of their status by email.
Fundraising Commitment
Team NAMI runners commit to raising $2,500 by October 1, 2027, with required interim fundraising milestones along the way.
After you submit your application, our team will review it and notify you of your status by email. If selected, you’ll receive a Team Agreement to sign, followed by instructions and a unique link to register for the Chicago Marathon.
Please note that the marathon registration fee is separate from your fundraising commitment and does not count toward your $2,500 fundraising goal. Runners are responsible for fulfilling their full fundraising commitment even if they are unable to participate in the race.
Already Have a Race Entry?
If you already have a guaranteed entry to the 2027 Bank of America Chicago Marathon or are selected through the general entry lottery, you can still support NAMI Chicago! If you’re interested in fundraising for NAMI Chicago as part of your marathon experience, please contact our Development team at development@namichicago.org to learn more about potential fundraising opportunities.
