What is the Illinois Peer Support Warm Line?

The Illinois Peer Support Warm Line has been supporting callers throughout Illinois since 2008. During that time, over 30,000 calls have come from individuals seeking support from someone who “gets it” – has lived experience and can understand their situation. Peer support is an invaluable resource for people in their recovery journey.

Free, confidential, and immediate support for anyone who needs someone to talk to about their behavioral health or support challenges; that is nonjudgmental and supportive. 

Wellness Support:

It can be challenging to use recovery and wellness strategies when things are hard. Knowing what works for you takes time and practice. Our Peer Support Specialists can help you maintain daily wellness, consider options in your recovery journey, and find what feels right for you. 

Family or loved one support: 

When someone you care for is struggling, it can be hard to know the next best thing to do. Our Peer Support Specialists can offer a listening ear and help you identify strategies to utilize
